In this game you asume the rol of Kat, a girl who has lost her memory and now, whit her new found powers over gravity, has to protect the future of a world that's falling apart.
The first thing I will talk about is the graphics. The colors the creators gave to the citys are really related to the state of them: dark and chaotic, with orange and red tones, it gives the atmosphere of a world that's near of their final sunset.
The first thing I will talk about is the graphics. The colors the creators gave to the citys are really related to the state of them: dark and chaotic, with orange and red tones, it gives the atmosphere of a world that's near of their final sunset.
And then we have the monsters, the Nevis, whose colors match all the ambient in wich the game it's settled.
Of course the characters graphics aren't left behind. Each of them have their own style that matchs their personality an the role that they have in the game's story.
Now, the graphics aren't the only good thing the game has. The story is one of the things that I liked the most in this game. The mystery it's always present along the story; What's really going on here? Whose Raven? What happened to Kat? An who was she before all of this happened? That are some questions that I had while playing the game and that keep me playing it in order to answer them. Bad thing was that at the end of the game not all my questions had and anwers, that's why I'm expecting the sequel, to finally have more anwers and no more questions.
And at the end the last thing I will talk about it's the gameplay. Tha way the creators of the game used the gyroscope of the Vita system was a great success, not only because it's a good way of using the console features, but also because of the concentration that requires using it. In order to use the gravity-controlling powers to fight against the Nevis without losing control, you need to be totally focused in the game, otherwise you will end up sending to heroine the nothingness. At first controlling the powers might be difficult, but at the end you'll get used to it and it will be something natural.
I had a great time playing Gravity Rush, not only in the main story, but also in the side quests, and although it may left behind some of the second characters in the course of the story, I'm expecting to know more of them in the sequel. And I highly recommend playing it, I asure you that it won't be a waist of time.
